HISTORY::
Thira was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to a stay at home mother and a father who worked in contruction. She also had a twin brother that she looked up to, even though she may have been born fifteen minutes earlier. When she was growing up, she and Ty were inseperable and would frequently get into mischief together, whether it was climbing on top of dressers to stealing 5 cent candy from the dime store at the age of 6 or 7. They always had a plan and always looked after each other. But sometimes, their dad would come home drunk from the bar and would be abusive, but not usually to Ty or Thira. They learned to deal with it by just growing closer to each other.
When Ty and Thira were in school, Thira often tried to bunker down and do well in her studies. Ty was a bit more of the class clown and got into trouble more. Thira knew her brother was smart, he just didn't wanna do the work. Thira often tried to find ways to make Ty like school more, but it didn't really help. It went on this way for a few years until they had turned thirteen. At that age, Thira had noticed that she started to feel strange and that Ty had started to act a little differently, often going off by himself and not telling her where. She figured it just must be hormones and going through puberty, but one day she followed him. She realized that he was changing into a golden retriever and would go for runs. He never realized that there was a friendly fox that would chase after him or wouldn't be too far away from him. Sometimes, she went for runs too, but it was mostly to get rid of stress from school work or just living in a house with a drunk and abusive father. She liked to chase the squirrels and race them to see if she was faster.
A few years later, their dad came home more drunk than usual. It got to be really bad and all of a sudden, Ty shifted into the golden retriever and attacked their dad, killing him. Their mother freaked out and began to throw things at her brother and he ran out the door. Their mother looked at her in such disgust and began to curse at her, calling her filth and for her to never come back home. Thira was enraged and lunged at her mother to get her to shut up. In the process, she knocked her over and she hit her head hard on the hearth of the fireplace. A pool of blood beginning to form underneath her head and body. Thira got up and got really scared. She had just killed their mother. She paniced and shifted, hoping that her brother wasn't too far ahead of her for her to catch up. But to her disappointment, she just couldn't catch up to him. She kept running after him, but somehow the distance between them grew bigger and bigger. She eventually lost sight of him and was hoping that his scent would help her, but it had grown cold.
Thira wandered around the country, constantly looking for places she thought Ty might be. She'd stay in one place for a while babysitting rich families kids or house sitting for them while they were out of the country for months at a time. But once she realized he wasn't close, she'd move on to another place. She missed her brother so much. And ever since that day she kept his scent in her memory, in case the faintest whiff of him were to pass by her nose. She would never give up looking for him. She would be reunited with her brother. He was all she had left and it was the only thing in life that she had to cling to.

ANY NOTES::
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE::
Thira had just gotten into Washington D.C. and was trying to gather her wits as to how in the world this city managed to drive around and not get lost when she spotted an ad for a professional house sitter and nanny for a family. She ripped the ad down off the door, folded it and put it in her pocket. "Looks like I might have a source of income already. Maybe I can see about taking some classes at one of the local colleges and that'll help make me look good to the family.", she said to herself.
She thought for a moment as to what she should do next. She needed money to get around and to get her some new clothes. Then it dawned on her just exactly what she needed to do. She walked around looking for the busiest spot in town, which just happened to be a very well known coffee shop. She began to walk over and realized that she would be able to utilize the single most important trick Ty had ever shown her...the art of pick pocketing. She walked amongst the crowd of customers and made sure to bump and touch people in a few spots before lightly slipping wallets from back pockets. The wallets from a woman's purse would be more difficult, but she knew just what to do. She bumped hard into a woman who was already looking through her purse so as to knock the purse out of her hand and its contents out onto the floor. She scrambled to the floor apologizing to the woman, hurriedly picking up some of the contents and putting them back in the purse, sneaking the wallet into her jacket under her arm. She left soon after to mix in with the crowd, disguising herself as another customer. She picked a few more wallets and then found a quiet place without a lot of people to reap what she had gathered.
She emptied the contents of each wallet. She found quite a few hundred dollars worth of cash. "It must have been pay day. Thank God.", she thought. She also found a few credit cards, which would have to be used soon and them dumped so as to not have the police involved. She pocketed the cash and the few cards and made her way to a few shops nearby to begin her plan of action, making sure to wipe the card clean and tossing it in the trash can as soon as she got done in a store. When she got done, she pulled the ad from her pocket and set off to find the address. She looked at the ad and thought, "Let's hope they're not a bunch of bratty kids."
