It was one thing to kill for food, it was another to kill just for the sheer joy of it. He understood killing to survive or even killing for revenge, what he didn't understand was killing because you found some sick joy out of it. He was in Paris, France for a few days. He had been tracking down a vampire who had made a scene in Toronto and the vampire had ran to Paris, the capital of the vampire world. He didn't know what the vampire was thinking of running here, guess he thought that since there were many vampires here that he would have lost the trail.
Everett had the vampires smell in his mind and his nose every forgot a scent. He also had been asking around if they had seen the vampire and most people had and gave him a general direction where to go. He followed the scent down a alleyway; yes it was always a alleyway. He also smelt.....blood, fresh blood. He could hear gasping and soft whimpering coming from a abandoned building.
He looked inside a window, seeing the vampire he had been tracking and a young woman, she was tied up and bleeding rather profusely. The vampire was just toying with her, instead of just finishing her off and feeding off her, he treated her like some raggedy doll. He stepped inside, making the vampire stop his playing around and just looked at Everett with wide eyes, not understanding how he could have been found so easily.
Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with your food asshole? He asked, walking casually over to the pair. The vampire tried to run, but had the rug pulled out from underneath him, literally.
Everett grabbed the vampire by the collar of his shirt, slamming him into the wall. You made a scene in Toronto. He said, wrapping his arm around the vampire neck, pulling tightly till his head snapped off. He dropped the body and held the head by its hair. He turned his attention back to the woman who was bleeding and had watched the whole thing. She looked terrified of what she had scene and dropped the head, walking over to her. She tried to scoot back as much as her bound body would let her but didn't get far when he grabbed her bound wrist and pulled her closer to him.
He could tell she didn't have much time to live, even if he wanted to have the time to take her some where....she had lost to much blood and her heart was weakening. He gripped her hair, yanking her neck to the side and plunged his fangs into her neck, draining her of what was left of her blood. Once she was dead, he gently placed her down on the ground and wrapped her body in the rug, digging a hole in the earth floor of the building and placed her in it. Once he covered her back up, he looked to the body of the vampire, yanking the dismembered head up and the body, going outside and made sure there were no humans around. He then noticed a familiar scent in the air....in the alleyway with him. Without bothering to turn around, he said. Been sometime..... He said softly.
