Grayson followed the group of gothic teenagers into the old, decrepit, "haunted" house as they spoke about how they were going to summon a spirit for sure that night. And they most certainly would, except not by their weird candles and Ouija board. Gray did this often, followed humans around, giving them a little scare or entertainment, and then disappearing completely and leaving them questioning what they had just experienced was real or not. Today wasn't going to be much different. These people wanted a ghost, they ere going to get a ghost. Not a creepy kid spirit or a poltergeist, but Grayson. And it was going to be hilarious.
He watched silently as they set up exactly what he had been making fun of earlier. The six of them gathered in a circle, four candles strategically placed around a Ouija board. A dark haired girl (oh, who am I kidding, they all had dark hair), the creepiest one of the bunch, put two fingers on the Ouija board thingy and took a deep breath as if she was about to bungy jump off a cliff or something. Is there anyone here with us tonight? Oh, that was his cue. Grayson moved the thing over to the 'yes', and all of the teenagers looked thoroughly surprised that they actually struck gold.
The creepy girl looked excited as she continued. What is your name? Grayson moved the thing over the letters that corresponded to his name. Grayson. She looked a little disappointed. What was she expecting, something a little more old-fashioned? Something a little bit fancier? Grayson moved the thing over the letters to spell out 'disappointed'. there were no question marks on these things, which were slightly irritating. The girl shook her head and cleared her voice. Why are you here, Grayson? Grayson smirked as he responded. W-a-n-t w-e-e-d he spelled out and one of the guys of the group raised his eyebrows. We have a stoner ghost? he said, looking slightly confused, if not amused.
He took this as his cue to appear right next to confused bro, sitting cross-legged on the floor. "You bet, dude." Grayson said, only smirking as the rest of the group recoiled and even stood up in fright. "I was just kidding about the weed thing by the way...I've got my own." he said, taking a joint out and putting it into the corner of his mouth. The rest of them just continued staring at him in fright, not knowing what to do now that there was an actual spirit in front of them. "Boo." he said with a smile, the joint hanging out of the side of his mouth and his hands up in a mock threatening pose. The group bolted out the door like their asses were on fire, and Gray couldn't help but laugh. Despite the laughter, he was a bit upset that he had become something to run from. Oh well.
He leaned back on the floor, causally smoking. He looked around, scrunching his face up. Man, this place was creepy, even for a ghost. He walked, no, more like floated out of the house , in full view of anyone and everything. Gray couldn't bring himself to care, however, as he sat on the porch steps and looked out into the street. It was late in the evening, not quite night, which was a weird time for calling out ghosts (later at night, the better).
There was clearly nothing going on around these parts. He floated, in search of someone else to bother, and grinned lazily as he saw a figure appearing from the darkness. Disappearing, he floated up next to this person, and whispered oh so ominously, "I'm going to kill youuuu."
