FULL NAME::Angeline Cassandra Weiss Michael Noah Weiss
NICKNAMES:: Mike, Mickey, Mickster, Angel-face, Freckles, Mick, Mickey Mouse
GENDER:: Male
ACTUAL AGE:: 35
APPARENT AGE:: Mid to late thirties
SPECIES/RACE:: Plus
PREFERRED PRONOUNS:: he/him/his
SEXUAL ORIENTATION:: Homosexual, Biromantic
FACECLAIM:: Paul Bettany
NATIONALITY:: British (both English and Scottish)
HEIGHT:: 6'
HAIR:: Strawberry blonde
EYES:: Blue
SKIN:: Pale, freckled
DISTINGUISHING MARKS:: Freckled on his face (especially his cheeks and nose), his arms and shoulders, and back. Right canine is chipped; small scar on the side of his neck from a cut he got when he was five. Two long, neat scars under his pectoral muscles.
APPEARANCE:: Mickey has pale, freckled skin, cropped, strawberry blonde hair (which appears to be just blonde in the right lights, when it's cut as short as it is), and eyes of a very intense and very deep blue. He's tall, standing at about six feet, and works out almost every day, so he stays at a muscular, athletic build. You can tell, however, that his body inclines more towards roundness -- though his face does have angles, it almost looks like an elongated oval, and his torso is definitely on the larger side.
He can either dress very nicely -- everything complimenting one another, not a hair out of place -- or, if he's in a scatterbrained sort of mood, like a thrift store exploded on him. Mickey is never seen without a sketchbook and a pencil, and because of that and his need for constant hydration, he often has a messenger bag full of art supplies and water bottles slung over his shoulder. His right canine is chipped from a punch someone threw at him in a bar fight, and he has a small scar on the side of his neck from a cut he got when he was five. His chest is still scarred from the reconstruction surgery; the scars are two long, neat -- if rippled -- lines beneath his pectoral muscles, and they're very gradually fading.
PERSONALITY:: Mickey hates himself for being what he considers a "walking stereotype", but it is how it is. He's a very emotional man, and, much like the element he embodies, is ever-changing, going quickly from calm to violently upset. On top of that, he's easily unnerved, and more polite than is necessarily good for him to be. He likes to please people, but because of this, doesn't tend to take care of himself. Mickey looks and acts like the typical eccentric artist. He has a habit of becoming so engrossed in his work that he doesn't know or care what's going on around him. If he doesn't catch himself, he can dress messily or leave the house without combing his hair, making himself seem scatterbrained to anyone who's paying attention. He can't cook, and has the tendency to eat takeout meals and anything instant he can find. Instant mac and cheese is his favorite.
His father's suicide was traumatizing for Mickey. Because of it, Mickey tends to cling to any friends or family he has, deeply afraid that they will "leave" him or that he'll cause them to hurt themselves, like he believes he caused his father to kill himself. He goes through periods of isolation as well; he hates being a burden to people. He has high anxiety, and suffers from panic attacks. But, like most anyone with mental illness, he can put on a show of being completely fine to anyone that doesn't know him very, very well. On top of all of this, he suffers from dysphoria due to his being transgender -- it's basically depressive episodes centered around the way his body works and functions as compared to a cisgender man.
Mickey is sensitive as well as a helpless romantic. He idolizes the ideas of love and beauty, and that shows in his artwork. He's the kind of man you'll find watching chick flicks with a box of tissues and a bowl of icecream, and despite his own messiness, he's also the sort of man who will silently judge the colors of your outfit from across the room, or the colors of your decor. In that way, you can say his job has taken its toll on him. But he really is sweet, and kind. He tries to be what he thinks is "good" -- compassionate, caring, loving. He tries to see the good that's in everyone. Mickey is also very sexually liberated, but whether that's because of the community he's a part of or because of natural inclinations remains to be seen.

HISTORY:: TRIGGER WARNING FOR MENTIONS OF DEPRESSION, SUICIDE, AND DYSPHORIA.
Harry Weiss fell madly in love with a woman named Cynthia, whom he met at a pub soon after the two of them had moved to London. She had him wrapped around her little finger, and it wasn't long until they were married -- and then, it wasn't long until she got pregnant, being able to pull him into her bed with the greatest of ease. The newlyweds were excited when they discovered they were going to be having twin girls, and Harry promptly got them into a larger flat to accommodate their children-to-be.
But they weren't going to be the happy family Harry had hoped they would be. There were complications in the birth, and Cynthia passed away, leaving her husband to care for the strawberry-blonde Gwen and Angeline on his own.
Harry fell into a depression, and from there, fell into liquor and recreational pill use. Cynthia's sister, Mary Anne, came around every so often to try and get him back on his feet, but she didn't help much, and always had to return to Glasgow to take care of her own child, Gavin, whose sister lived with their father. It caused Angeline and Gwen to learn from a very young age to take care of themselves whenever their aunt wasn't around to care for them, and so they never relied on their father. They mostly relied on one another.
Angeline knew early on that she wasn't exactly normal, or what most people would consider normal. She didn't like wearing dresses, or playing with dolls, or being called a girl at all, really. She felt constantly uncomfortable in her own skin, self-conscious even when others insisted she was beautiful. When she first started maturing sexually, she threw constant tantrums and was a strain on her father's already frayed nerves. No one, not even her loving aunt or her twin sister, was sure what the problem was.
It was around that time that both her and Gwen began to show their powers, as well. They could see into each other's minds, as close as they were to one another, and pass thoughts and emotions back and forth. Gwen could create fire from thin air, and Angeline could control whatever water she could get her hands near. Gwen and Angeline had each other, if they didn't have anyone else to teach them -- they practiced their powers in secret, learning from one another. This strengthened the already strong bond that they held.
Angeline eventually became convinced she was a lesbian, and began to cut her hair short and wear more boyish clothes. This soon blew over, though, as she realized she was just as attracted to boys as any straight girl would be. But it was abundantly clear to her that she wasn't really a straight girl. She saw herself as one of the boys. She felt more comfortable in the short hair and men's clothes that she'd donned. Soon, she started taping her breasts down, and trying to make her voice go deeper. She felt blessed that all the women in her family were tall. She was a boy. He was a boy. His sister, Gwen, helped him come up with the name "Michael Noah", and from there the name "Mickey", and from that point on, it was final. His father never understood it, but in his drunken haze, his father never understood much of anything.
When Mickey was sixteen, he wanted to go out on the town with some friends and his sister. His father insisted the two of them stay home, but Mickey became angry, just as any teenager would. He got into a heated argument with his dad, and some horrible words about the way Harry had raised him -- if you could call it that -- were said. Mickey stormed out in a rage. When he came back, his father's corpse was already cold; he'd taken all of his pills and washed them down with three bottles of beer. Mickey and Gwen were sent to live with their aunt in Glasgow. Mickey never got over the incident, and blames himself for it to this day.
But Mary Anne was a good parent to the two of them, accepting and kind. Her daughter, Linda, had died in a car crash with her father (Mary Anne's ex-husband), and afterwards Mary Anne's son Gavin had left home with only a note to tell her he was alright, so Mary Anne doted on Mickey and Gwen. She was the one that ended up paying for Mickey's chest reconstruction and his hormone replacement therapy, and to this day helps support him when his money is tight. Mickey and Gwen moved to America, and Mickey went to an art school in New York and became an interior designer. He makes enough to keep a small studio apartment in the city he graduated from. He sells his paintings, occasionally, but it's interior design that buys his food as well as the testosterone he has to inject every month.

RANK:: N/A
POWERS::
- HYDROKINESIS: The ability to control and manipulate water. Mickey can pull water out of the air, from plants, or from natural or unnatural water sources (such as water bottles or lakes), manipulate it however he pleases, etc. Theoretically, he could pull it from organisms other than plants as well, or use said organisms' water in their blood against them... but that's not something he's willing to try out.
- TEMPERATURE MANIPULATION: Tied into his hydrokinesis. He can heat up water or make it colder, and so can freeze it or evaporate it as he chooses. This is listed as a separate power as some hydrokinetics cannot do this.
- TELEPATHY: Began as something he shared only with his twin sister; they were bonded, so they could "check in" on one another any place and any time, no matter how far apart they were. They both soon learned, however, they could read the minds of anyone they touched. If they bond with another person, they'll be able to link with them just like they link with each other. Mickey can use this power to "attack" people with his own memories and can rife through their heads, but he's very unpracticed.
WEAKNESSES::
- DRY AIR: Being in dry air makes Mickey weak and drained. He has to keep water bottles on him at all time for this reason.
- HEAT: Heat, especially dry heat from sources such as fire, drains him even faster.
- VULNERABLE MIND: Though he is a telepath himself, if he is touching or bonded to another telepath he is completely helpless against attacks from them.
