APPEARANCE::
Aleena is pretty noticeable in a crowd. With fair skin and bright red hair, she's an oddity to the usual tanned-skinned brunettes that one usually sees flocking around New York or in American in general. Some believe that Aleena's male donor had Irish or Scottish in him, a fact that is easily held up by not only the hair, but also the freckles that lightly dust her features.
Despite her strength, Aleena does not appear to be a natural bodybuilder. Her body is toned, yes, but that is more from almost daily visits to the gym than any natural abilities given to her by her Plus status. She is very tall for a woman, just three inches shy of six feet, though thank to heels she often appears taller. Her figure has very subtle curves, which she either embraces or denies depending on the day.
PERSONALITY::
If there's any one word that would describe Aleena, it's playful. She's very much a child in personality, choosing often to tease Rafael like a girl with a schoolyard crush. She's not one for pulling hair, however, instead choosing to insert Gilbert Gottfried into his jazz music at random intervals. Despite the way she teases him, Aleena is also very protective of Rafael, as is her job as bodyguard and thrall, and is not above killing for him.
That being said, the redhead is not all smiles and giggles. To start with, she's not the smartest fish in the barrel. In fact, perhaps she isn't even average. What she lacks in intelligence, however, she makes up for in strength and stubbornness, often choosing to push on with whatever task is at hand, no matter what. Because of this, Aleena often finds herself at odds with those around her; odds which can often lead to pouting.
Along with her playfulness and stubbornness, however, lurks a more dangerous monster: her temper. Aleena is a woman who can take and take, but once she has been pushed over the edge, there is nothing that can save her. She has killed before, and will more than likely kill again, due to her job. The Hulk-like temper she claims is responsible for around six or ten deaths, depending on who you ask.

HISTORY::
Aleena was born the oldest of the three Leatherby children. Aleena's birth took place on a particularly warm and rainy day in a London hospital, near the end of July, and was a much celebrated event. Her mother, Michelle, had been trying hard to get pregnant via in vitro, and Aleena was just the first of three successful pregnancies to come.
To be honest, the first years of her life were nothing spectacular. Michelle was single mother who loved her children and worked hard to provide for them, and so Aleena grew up without wanting for much. When she turned four, her mother had Michael, and then when Aleena was six had Roman. Because of the age gap, Aleena quickly grew to become protective of her siblings.
As she grew to be protective, Aleena also grew to be very strong. Every year, she seemed to grow stronger and stronger, and by the age of ten could easily lift the couch. By the time she was sixteen, she was able to move a car with some effort. By twenty, however, moving a car was a laughable effort. This strength did not come without a cost, however, and Michelle noticed a sort of... oddness about her daughter.
Aleena was never quite up to level with her classmates, and she seemed to grow quick to anger. Her grades suffered as the cost of her strength, it appeared, as did her normally cheerful personality. There was almost a Hulk-like effect; whenever Aleena was pushed too far, she shut down and easily destroyed whatever had tipped her over the edge.
When she was but twenty-two, after a lifetime of defending her brothers from whoever came after them, Aleena was pushed too far. Roman, who was still in high school, was chased home by a group of boys nearly twice his size. When Roman came to her, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Aleena tracked the boys down and, when they began to attack her, she could no longer hold herself back.
The boys were left in the same clubhouse she murdered them. They were found a week and a half later, but by that time, Aleena had flown to Australia. She lived there for a few years until things started to catch up to her, then moved to America. She was there when the Pluses emerged. In what was supposed to be a peaceful cry of equality, a riot broke out, and Aleena snapped once more.
Since the vampires' coming out party, this little Plus has since moved to New York and become the Thrall of one Rafael de Leon. They make an odd pair, but Aleena is content in her position.
