Though she can seem to be quite shy, Dell is definitely a people person. She loves to make
people happy and, in fact, strives to do this on a daily basis. Being the owner of a bookstore
specializing in rare and odd things means she meets a large variety of people on any given
day. As much as they might find the material on her shelves to be fascinating, she finds the
people just as interesting, if not more so.
Despite her easygoing and amiable nature, Dell hasn't made many friends in her lifetime.
After the deaths of her adoptive parents, she cut herself off from others. For a long time
she chose to travel rather than settle down somewhere. Now that she's settled, her store
is her pride and joy and she adores serving customers, even going so far as to lend books
or personally travel to find a wanted tome. She always does her best to make sure her
customers leave satisfied or at least with a smile on their faces.
Luckily, her friendlessness goes both ways: Dell has no enemies! Though she hopes
she never will, she knows it's a possibility. You don't live as long as she will without gaining
an enemy or two. As for lovers, she's never had one. It's not that she doesn't want one
or that she's uninterested in the idea, it's that she's never had the chance. She's kept
herself so busy with seeing the world, reading, and running her shop that she hasn't given
romance or sexuality a second thought.

Ryker is a bit of a pain in the ass. A born trouble maker, he's more than just a magnet for
the stuff: he searches it out. Fighting is pretty much his favourite pastime and if you're
down for a fight he's probably down for a fight. He just has a few rules: no dirty moves,
no fighting out of anger (unless he's not the one angry, in which case: sure), and no
weapons. He won't fight people smaller than him, but he's fine with just about anyone
else as long as they agree and they look like they can hold their own!
Now, despite his rambunctious and reckless behaviour, he's really a sweetheart. He loves
to make people smile and laugh. He's a bit of a prankster and enjoys playing tricks on
both strangers and friends, though he sticks to harmless ones rather than potentially
dangerous or hurtful pranks. He's naturally empathetic and perceptive: a pair of skills
that makes him quite emotional. These two abilities are the reasons he feels so deeply
for people and they are part of why he feels the need to fight, as he gets overwhelmed
and needs an outlet for all the things he's been feeling (or second-hand 'feeling').
He's friendly and funny, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have enemies. His silliness
has garnered a few unhappy people, as has his brother's murder. Some of his enemies
are enemies by his own decision rather than theirs. He could use some friends, some
tethers to keep him grounded and keep him from being so stubborn and reckless that
he gets himself killed. As for lovers, Ryker's never been interested in someone sexually
but romance is not off the table. He loves the idea of romance and partnership, he just
has little to no sexual interest. (He's uncomfortable with his chosen label, as he's not sure
it fits. Who's to know if he'll never be sexually attracted to someone? Perhaps he just
needs to get close enough to gain strong feelings -- he usually keeps relationships
shallow, having more acquaintances than friends.)

Caoimhe (who, for sanity's sake, spells her name Kiva outside of legal documents) is
friendly as friendly can be. She'll talk to anyone but she has a lot more acquaintances
than friends, as she's valued the friendship of her brother over others for most of her
life. However, now that she's living away from her brother she's more than willing to
work on a deeper friendship.
Enemies? Kiva's stubborn nature and inability to stand by while others are
disrespected means she's gotten into her fair share of trouble. Thankfully she hasn't
run into any that's been more than the risk of a punch to the face. Considering the
nature of her job (working with children) she tries her best to stay away from more
dangerous things -- and if she can't, she'll try to talk her way out and/or make a deal
to have her actions and words forgotten.
Kiva isn't interested in sexual relationships -- at least not right off the bat. A deep,
emotional bond is a prerequisite for any sexual feelings Kiva has or will have. She's not
against having a relationship, but romance and companionship are her top priorities.
