Suddenly, Ty was wondering if the whole "drop you in the alley" option would have gone better for him. The only thrall of the only councilman he'd met in the entire freaking city, and that of course had to be the one they were targeting. They were already suspicious of him, and he'd maid like everything was fine and he wasn't up to any trouble, because hey. He wasn't. But one hot chick with a loaded gun can change all that. Heh...a loaded gun with a loaded gun.
Of course, while in shift, Ty's arguments were reduced to whines, growls, barks and other dog noises, which he cut back on after he felt the yank on his collar. Throughout the ordeal, he just stayed ahead of Mandy like a good guide dog would, while still keeping an eye out, just in case. After all, daylight or not, he had a baaad feeling about this...
Well, it wasn't so bad after the woman collided with the thrall and the thrall hit the ground, he had to admit. In fact, if he wasn't a dog, he probably would have chuckled, or at least grinned a little. Sadistic? Maybe, but after the way she treated him based solely on his race back at that coffee shop...she deserved it. At least for now. So, instead of smiling or laughing, Ty's tail wagged a little as his tongue lolled out of his mouth. Yeah, the shifter was maybe enjoying this a bit too much, but, well, hey. Just desserts and all that, right?
And as long as he stayed a dog, they couldn't pin him for anything, right? Most likely. He was still ditching town when this was done though, no matter what. A few days from now at the most, he'd be kissing this city goodbye. Or more accurately, giving it the finger on his way out.
When the thrall addressed Mandy, Ty focused on her, giving a protective growl. After all, he was protecting his "master."
